Julie Deily was a software engineer for ten years before making the transition to full-time blogger at The Little Kitchen as well as freelance recipe developer, food photographer and social media consultant. She lives in Central Florida with her husband, two dogs (Charley & Angel) and one cat (Clone).
She started the The Little Kitchen in December 2009 as a way to share recipes with family and friends. She also blogs about travel, her pets and her life with her husband.
She has spoken at TBEX, the Association Of Food Journalists’ Annual Conference, BlogHer Food and Florida Blogger Conference. She is organizing a food blogger event in January 2017 which will help raise money for Cookies for Kids’ Cancer.
