When looking at destinations for a blogger/influencer retreat that I was managing I immediately thought of The Westgate Park City Resort & Spa. I have stayed there on several occasions for staycations, family reunions, and weekends away with my girlfriends. I had an inkling that it would be perfect for the 15 person retreat and boy was I right!
The Westgate Park City is a full service hotel & spa. With restaurants on you can easily stay there all weekend for a nice relaxing trip OR you can head 5 minutes down the road into the heart of Park City if you are looking for some excitement. They have everything you need for the perfect luxury vacation. No matter the season – it is always the perfect time to indulge in delicious food or relax in a luxury spa day.
Suites

I have only ever stayed in the Presidential Suite but after the first stay I could not go to a normal room – or I thought! I first stayed here for a family reunion where we booked a Luxury Four-Bedroom Villa for my family (4 adults & 4 kids). This is how I KNEW The Westgate Park City would work perfectly for the retreat.
The Luxury Four-Bedroom Villa or The Presidential Suite (as it is labeled in the hotel) has 4 bedrooms/4 bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, large private balcony and a personal hot tub for the suite only. Right? Who could ever downgrade after that? Well, little did I know but ALL the rooms have at least a kitchenette and sitting room. If I am traveling alone this is still the place to be! There are a few things that the suites lacked in terms of kitchen gear for those of us at the retreat (as food influencers) but anyone else would say the kitchen is fully stocked.
For the retreat we stayed in 2 Four-Bedroom Villas and had 8 bedrooms to spread out in. This worked so much better than a large house for 2 reasons:
- 8 bathrooms – with 14 ladies you need 8 bathrooms – minimum
- 2 living spaces & kitchens – we were able to have one living room & kitchen for meals and the other for filming/retreat gatherings
Restaurants
While at The Westgate Park City we had the pleasure of being hosted in both of the on site restaurants thanks to different sponsors.
Drafts Burger Bar

We were able to enjoy our first night’s dinner at Drafts Burger Bar. Widely touted as having the best burger in Park City, beer, wine or cocktails are also available from a fully stocked bar. They have a wraparound deck open in every season – which is where we sat and had an enjoyable dinner even in 15 degree weather.
The service was amazing and set the tone for a great dining experience. BUT the real winner at Drafts are the milkshakes.

I had one that includes vanilla ice cream, Oreo’s, and a Ho-Ho. A portion of the proceeds went to Nuzzles & Co in support of a local no kill animal sanctuary.
Edge Steakhouse

One night we were spoiled thanks to the Westgate Park City. They treated our group of ladies to a chef’s tasting dinner. Edge Steakhouse provides a culinary experience that takes the traditional steakhouse up a level. They have full bar as well as one of the largest and most comprehensive wine lists in Park City. We had several needs for our group:
- allergies
- dislikes
- gluten free
- vegetarian

The waitstaff knew exactly who had special diets and spoke to them one on one explaining what they could/not eat.

The only thing that we did not have time to do was visit the on site spa. I will be sure to book at least one treatment next time I stay at The Westgate.
A bonus that we thought we would not get since it was just November was that we awoke to several inches of snow. It transformed the area into a magical wonderland. Our influencer retreat stay at The Westgate Park City was a wonderful experience. We had amazing food, lots of learning from each other, collaborations, great lodging, and beautiful surroundings.

That suite looks amazing!! I’ve been wanting to go skiing in Park City
