Our team of writers here at She’s On the Go look for certain things in a hotel. We love a hotel that’s close to local landmarks and attractions, is spacious, has friendly and attentive staff, and has amenities that are great for family travel (including your pets), couples, or girlfriends getaways. Fadra had the opportunity to stay at The River Inn and had this to say about it; “What’s the best thing about The River Inn? I’d definitely say the location. We had a great view of the Watergate Hotel and felt close to everything we wanted to visit. And we had no trouble finding excellent dining spots, that were family-friendly, within walking distance. The River Inn offers great family location for those looking to make the most of Washington, DC!”
Andrea stayed at Modus Hotels One Washington Circle Hotel and is looking forward to her next stay! “One Washington Circle was wonderful and we would definitely stay there again. I’d love to return in the summer to take advantage of the outdoor pool, but I’ll have to save that for another trip! This is a comfortable home base for business travel or sightseeing. Getting around was easy and enjoyable.”
Sarah recently escaped on a girlfriends getaway and stayed at Avenue Suites and loved the welcoming atmosphere. “I have truly never felt as welcome at a hotel than when I walked into the Avenue Suites. I could tell that they didn’t see us as a reservation walking in the door but a guest who was about to be part of the Modus family.”
Susan and her girls recently visited The Windsor Suites in Philadelphia and is already planning on returning this Spring! “We loved our stay at The Windsor Suites; it’s truly the perfect place to stay and play in Philly! We can’t wait to go back and explore more of the City.”
